Members from LUNA were asked to participate in Latino Arts, Inc.'s Dia de los Muertos Ofrenda Exhibition. Dia de los Muertos, also known as Day of the Dead, is a tradition in Mexico where family members celebrate the live of loved ones that are no longer with us. Ofrendas, or altars, are decorated with cempasuchil, calaveras, offerings, personal items, and photos of the deceased in order to remember and honor those who have departed. 

Seeing an opportunity to create something meaningful, members banded together to honor Black, brown, femme, queer, and trans people who were senselessly stolen from us due to violence and hate in 2020.
